QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in sales roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management position within FMCG
  • Deep knowledge of FMCG sales channels, market trends, and shopper behavior across (Target Market or Region)
  • Strong management experience in leading and mentoring a team in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Requires strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and deep knowledge of the FMCG sector, including retail, wholesale, modern trade, and e-commerce
  • Fluent in English
  • Analytical skills in sales, marketing, financial, and logistics environments
  • Knowledge of budgetary planning, control, and pricing mechanisms
  • Being able to manage complexity and end-to-end thinking: to manage the customer throughout the entire organization
  • Working with multi-disciplinary teams and experience working in a multinational business context with a matrix structure
  • Well-developed listening, communication, interpersonal skills, and an analytical mindset
  • Strong Commercial mindset and proven track record in achieving ambitious growth targets paired with strong negotiation ability

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Leading and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve financial targets across all sales channels
  • Development and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives, focusing on driving revenue, enhancing customer satisfaction, and expanding market reach within the fmcg industry
  • Overall responsibility for designing and implementing go-to-market strategies, promoting a culture of sound understanding of consumer and customer trends, needs, and expectations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers at senior levels and delivering customer centric solutions
  • Leading high-level negotiations with key customers
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (sales, expansion, business development, etc.)
  • Generate and qualify new leads and use different approaches to penetrate prospective accounts Implement and maintain sales processes designed to achieve specific sales objectives
  • Create and administer – and have responsibility for meeting – the annual commercial budget Manage the commercial and sales team while being heavily involved in the motivation, drive, and development of new talent within the organization
  • Defining, planning, shaping, and executing strategies and initiatives that will deliver results for the company and drive sustainable growth
