QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in direct procurement, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry
• Solid knowledge of raw material sourcing, supply chain processes, and vendor management
• Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with IFS will be considered a strong plus)
• Good command of MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Good command of English
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and coordination abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for raw materials and other direct goods
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and material costs
• Collect supplier quotations; organizing tenders and negotiating in compliance with specifications and procurement procedures
• Prepare and monitor procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with cost targets and operational needs
• Conduct supplier research and manage the approval process for new and existing raw materials and services
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain long-term, strategic relationships
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal quality standards during the procurement process
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure timely updates in the ERP system
