Requirements
Professional Experience
- Minimum 15+ years of experience within the FMCG sector, with a strong focus on commercial leadership
- Proven track record in top-tier executive roles such as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Deputy General Manager (Commercial/Sales), or equivalent C-level / near C-level positions
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multi-country commercial operations, preferably across Europe and the Middle East or International markets
- Strong ownership of full commercial P&L, with a consistent record of delivering sustainable revenue growth and profitability
Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is strongly preferred
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making capability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Location & Mobility
- This role is based in Poland
- Candidates must be currently located in Poland or open to relocation to Poland
- High level of mobility and flexibility is required
- Willingness to travel frequently across Europe and the Middle East
Commercial & Functional Expertise
- Deep expertise in end-to-end commercial strategy, including Sales, Commercial, Key Account Management, Trade Marketing, and Route-to-Market design
- Strong background in managing complex channel structures (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, HoReCa, and Retail networks)
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable go-to-market models across multiple geographies
- Advanced capabilities in pricing strategy, margin optimization, and commercial analytics
Strategic Leadership & Thinking
- Proven ability to define, shape, and execute long-term commercial and growth strategies across multiple markets
- Strong experience in market entry strategies, expansion planning, and portfolio prioritization
- Ability to translate macro market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable commercial strategies
- Demonstrated success in driving transformation agendas, including go-to-market redesign, channel evolution, and business model optimization
- Strong capability in balancing short-term performance delivery with long-term value creation
- Experience in working closely with executive leadership on strategic decision-making and business planning cycles
Leadership Capabilities
- Experience in leading senior leadership teams and large, multicultural organizations
- Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels, driving transformation and performance simultaneously
- Strong track record in building high-performing teams and developing leadership pipelines

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the company’s global commercial strategy aligned with overall business objectives
- Identify growth opportunities across markets, channels, and product categories
- Lead long-term planning to ensure sustainable revenue and market share growth
Commercial Excellence & Execution
- Oversee all commercial functions including Sales, Key Account Management, Retail, HoReCa within an FMCG environment (mandatory FMCG background required)
- Develop and optimize route-to-market strategies across different geographies
- Ensure strong alignment between commercial strategy and local execution
Financial Ownership
- Hold full responsibility for commercial P&L performance
- Drive revenue growth while improving profitability, margins, and pricing strategies
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions where necessary
Market Expansion & Partnerships
- Identify and develop new market opportunities and expansion strategies
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships and key client relationships
- Strengthen the company’s competitive positioning in dynamic FMCG markets
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and inspire high-performing, multicultural commercial teams
- Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability and results
- Develop future leaders and strengthen organizational capability
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and marketing
- Represent the company in key external engagements when required
