Description

We are seeking an experienced Export Sales Specialist for our client operating in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bulk commodity trading and international sales operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Food Engineering, Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in export sales within the food industry.
  • Proven experience in bulk commodity trading and international sales operations.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong knowledge of export procedures, international trade regulations, logistics, and payment terms.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a commercial and results-oriented approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and develop export sales activities in line with company objectives and sales targets.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying and acquiring new international clients.
  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities in target export markets.
  • Handle the sales process of bulk food products from inquiry to order confirmation.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and follow up on customer requests.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to support business growth.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and market analyses for management.
