QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Good knowledge of VAT, Withholding Tax, Provisional Tax, Corporate Tax and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Experience with e-Invoice, e-Archive and e-Dispatch Note processes.
• Strong knowledge of current account, bank, cash, inventory and fixed asset accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong MS Office skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing day-to-day general accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely accounting records.
• Performing accounting entries in accordance with the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Managing accounting processes related to purchases, sales, expenses, banks, cash, receivables, payables and general ledger transactions.
• Performing month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Following fixed assets, depreciation and related accounting records.
• Supporting inventory and cost accounting processes, including the accurate recording of agricultural production and inventory movements.
• Providing the necessary information and documentation for independent audits, tax audits and other external audits.
• Reporting accounting-related matters and providing regular updates to the Finance and Accounting Manager.
