Description

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of Compensation & Benefits experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the Retail sector
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation trends, job evaluation methodologies, salary structures, employee benefits, and incentive programs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Solid understanding of local labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits in the retail sector
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence senior leadership
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multinational environment
  • Fluent English (both written and verbal); additional language skills are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis tools), with solid experience in PowerPoint and Word for reporting and documentation
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) and compensation planning tools

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design and manage compensation and benefits policies aligned with company objectives and market trends
  • Lead annual compensation review cycles, including salary adjustments, bonus schemes, and incentive plans
  • Conduct job evaluations and market benchmarking to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs (healthcare, retirement plans, insurance, etc.)
  • Provide expert guidance and training to HR business partners and retail leadership on compensation strategies and practices
  • Monitor compensation trends and regulatory changes; ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to develop total rewards budgets and forecasts
  • Manage vendor relationships for benefits administration tailored to the retail workforce
  • Prepare and present regular reports on compensation and benefits effectiveness to senior leadership with actionable insights
  • Delegate tasks effectively and foster collaboration within the team to support departmental goals and deadlines
