REQUIREMENTS (SENIOR-LEVEL)

• Minimum 15 years of compliance, legal, or risk management experience, ideally within the global retail or consumer-facing industries.
• Proven track record in leading cross-market compliance programs within multinational organizations.
• Strong expertise in international regulations, including GDPR, AML/ABC frameworks, consumer protection, data privacy, and global supply chain compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to build and implement large-scale compliance frameworks and internal control systems.
• Exceptional leadership capability with experience managing diverse, multi-country compliance teams.
• Outstanding analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the executive level.
• High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to take decisive action in complex regulatory environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Law, Business, or Risk/Compliance preferred.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, work under pressure, and support fast-paced growth environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive global compliance strategy across all retail markets.
• Establish, upgrade, and monitor compliance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
• Drive risk assessments, ethical compliance audits, and regulatory readiness across diverse business units.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring compliance alignment with business growth and expansion.
• Oversee compliance training programs, awareness initiatives, and organization-wide cultural embedding.
• Lead internal investigations and ensure timely reporting and escalation of compliance issues.
• Assess and interpret emerging regulations across international markets, advising on business impact and actions.
• Ensure full compliance across customer data protection, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, financial integrity, and supply chain standards.
• Partner with legal, HR, operations, and commercial teams to ensure compliance integration across all processes.
