QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed degree in business administration and business knowledge
• Master's degree with a focus on finance desirable
• Auditor, tax consultant, accountant, CPA or similar advantageous
• English business fluent , knowledge of German an advantage
• Extensive experience in finance and accounting in various position
• Several years of experience in managing executives
• Strong knowledge of the economic environment in Turkey and the resulting challenges for companies
• Experience in retail advantageous (is a must area)
• Ideally professional experience in a German company or experience in working with German companies
• Economic thinking (view of the entire company, profitability/cost awareness)
• Deep knowledge of accounting standards (e.g. TTK, HGB, IFRS etc.)
• Goal-orientation (solution-orientation, future-orientation, stringent pursuit of goals/achievement of goals)
• Reliability & accuracy (figures, data, facts must be correct and scrutinized for plausibility
• IT knowledge (experience with various ERP systems, BI tools and MS Office products)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial strategy: Development and implementation of the company's overall financial strategy together with the management
• Budgeting/forecasting: Preparation and monitoring of budgets and projections
• Capital planning: Decisions on capital structure and procurement in close coordination with the management and the parent company in Germany
• Financial reporting: Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
• Controlling: Monitoring financial performance, in particular through plan/actual comparisons and co-decision-making on investment issues
• Risk management: Identification and control of financial risks
• Cash management: Optimization of cash flow and liquidity, especially in cooperation with the supply chain and purchasing
• Stakeholder relations: Maintaining relationships with banks, auditors, lawyers and tax advisors
• Management of the finance and accounting team: Management, motivation and development of the team with the Accounting, Controlling and Treasury departments
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
