REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline; an MBA is considered an advantage
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Retail Expansion, Business Development, Commercial, or Expansion functions within international retail organizations
  • Previous experience in Fashion, Cosmetics, Beauty or Premium Consumer Brands will be considered a strong advantage
  • Proven track record of leading international expansion projects and successfully entering new markets
  • Strong knowledge of retail leasing, commercial real estate, shopping center dynamics, and store development processes
  • Demonstrated experience in developing expansion strategies, evaluating investment opportunities, and delivering sustainable business growth
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-country, matrix organizational structure
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are considered an asset
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the company’s international expansion strategy by identifying, evaluating, and executing new market opportunities across multiple regions
  • Develop and implement market entry strategies, including greenfield, franchise, joint venture, and acquisition opportunities where applicable
  • Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and competitive analyses to support strategic growth decisions
  • Drive retail network development by identifying premium locations and managing the site selection process
  • Lead commercial negotiations with landlords, developers, franchise partners, and key external stakeholders
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare business cases to support expansion initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of expansion projects
  • Monitor international retail trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify future growth opportunities
  • Ensure expansion projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the company’s long-term commercial objectives
  • Represent the company in strategic meetings and establish strong relationships with local and international business partners
