REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Background

  • 15+ years of Planning, Product Development & Management or Commercial Planning experience within the retail or fashion/apparel sector.
  • Proven track record in leading multi-country planning operations or regional planning teams.
  • Strong experience in financial planning, forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to simplify complexity for senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on ability to influence, challenge, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with senior executives and global partners.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of retail KPIs, product lifecycle, and omnichannel dynamics.
  • Proficiency in advanced planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, SAP, Oracle,) and Excel/BI tools.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end planning cycle across international markets, ensuring alignment with global commercial strategy.
  • Develop long-range merchandise, financial and demand plans to maximize growth and margin.
  • Set the strategic direction for inventory management, product lifecycle planning, and assortment optimization.

Market & Business Performance Management

  • Analyze regional performance, identify opportunities/risks, and build action plans to drive commercial success.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, and Retail Operations teams to ensure accurate forecasts and efficient execution.
  • Drive consistency in planning frameworks and KPIs across all markets.

Cross-Functional & Cross-Market Collaboration

  • Build strong partnerships with country leaders, ensuring the brand’s global planning strategy is executed with excellence.
  • Guide regional planning teams, provide coaching, build capability, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Lead global initiatives such as S&OP improvements, planning tool enhancements, and digital transformation projects.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Translate complex data into clear strategies and insights to support commercial decisions.
  • Enhance forecasting models and planning tools to enable greater accuracy, agility, and scalability.
