GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Preferably 15+ years of experience in the retail sector, at least 5 years of senior management experience
- Strong experience in warehouse management, distribution, and supply chain planning processes
- Proficiency in ERP / WMS systems
- Experience in managing multi-location retail store operations
- Proven experience in leading large teams and organizational leadership
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with excellent strategic thinking, planning, and organizational capabilities
- Experience in analytical reporting and performance management
- Change and transformation management
- Advanced level of English; knowledge of German is a plus
JOB DESCRIPTION
Warehouse Management
- End-to-end management of 2 warehouse operations (receiving, stocking, order preparation, shipping, returns)
- Ensuring timely and accurate product delivery to stores (OTIF performance)
- Planning and optimization of transportation and distribution processes
- Selection, management, and performance monitoring of 3PL (third-party logistics) partners, and development and implementation of supply chain and logistics strategies in alignment with company goals
- Designing warehouse and distribution infrastructure in line with growth plans, managing logistics planning and operational preparations for new store openings
- Ensuring the effective use of ERP, WMS, and related systems
Supply Chain Planning
- Management of demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment processes
- Ensuring inventory accuracy, inventory turnover, and optimal stock levels
- Planning in accordance with seasons, campaigns, and product launches
- Increasing product availability by coordinating with suppliers
Performance & Budget Management
- Definition and regular monitoring of supply chain and logistics KPIs
- Execution of operational efficiency and cost optimization initiatives
- Preparation of annual budgets and achievement of budget targets
Team Management & Organization
- Management and development of warehouse, logistics, and planning teams
- Design of organizational structure and workforce planning
- Conduct performance evaluations and competency development processes
