Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 10 to 15 years of industrial experience, including strong management experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager or Operations Manager in an industrial company
- Background in mechanical industries such as automotive, aerospace, railway, or heavy production equipment
- International exposure: preferably European, US, or Asian markets
- Proven experience managing large scopes
- Must have proven experience in an international company
- Demonstrated management skills and leadership experience
- English fluency is mandatory
- Solid manufacturing knowledge: industrial processes, EHS, lean manufacturing, supply chain, and continuous improvement
- Strong general management competencies: commercial awareness, cost control, customer focus, and financial knowledge
- Highly energetic personality, with the ability to initiate and drive change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of responsibility, ethics, and sincerity in communication and reporting
- Mature understanding of the end-to-end large contract execution process in industrial settings
- Capable of working within a matrix organization; able to communicate effectively with both employees and collaborators
- Good knowledge of the T&D (Transmission & Distribution) sector is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To comply with all precautions taken by the employer, not to endanger oneself or other employees, to use provided equipment correctly, to report any dangerous situations detected to the employer or the employee representative, to participate in training and drills organized by the employer
- To comply with the environmental rules determined by the employer, to pay attention to the separation of waste at source, to participate in training and drills organized by the employer
- To make suggestions for the improvement of management systems and business processes

- To report the weaknesses and/or vulnerabilities detected within the scope of information security and the incidents affecting the confidentiality-integrity-availability of information to the relevant units
- To make energy saving suggestions to reduce consumption
- 4 Year Plan & Budget elaboration: Elaborate and propose the 4 Year Plan for the Unit in collaboration with ISO and the Product Line Management
- Budget Execution/Finance: Organize the Unit and launch all the necessary actions plans (according to T&D procedures) in order to commit with the budget. Optimize the Unit’s financial results, Identify and minimize the risk for the Unit, PL, BU and Company (technical, financial, legal)
- Sales Organisation/Tendering: Organize the Sales and Tendering activity (technical offer + costing) in collaboration with ISO and the product line in orders to reach the level of Orders Received. Participate in the definition of the price and margin policy for the Unit’s products in order to satisfy the Customers’ requirements
- Delivery Performance (quality, cost, delay): Organize the supply chain of the factory in order to deliver the projects on time (from Sales to Delivery on site) conform to the technical specifications at the optimum costs. Optimize sourcing activities
- EHS: Insure the environment protection of the Unit and protect his personnel by implementing EHS policy
- Continuous Improvement: Plan, Implement, follow up and sustain the Continuous Improvement action plan of the Unit in collaboration with the involved functions of T&D.
- People Management: Ensure the evolution of the personnel in term of capacity (versus load) and knowledge (recruitment, training, coaching…). Promote and retain talents. Ensure a productive social environment: conduct the Workers Council, meet Unit’s Unions Representatives and External Regulation Authorities, and negotiate yearly agreements. Be responsible for internal communication and people motivation. Conduct opinion survey. Manage the team with leadership model (see core managerial competences).
- Charter Values: Guarantor of the strict application of the Values Charter in each department of the Unit especially in Sales, Sourcing, HR and Finance operations
