Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably within the automotive industry
- Proven experience in method/process engineering, including production flow optimization, work instructions, and standardization activities
- Experience in machining processes is a strong asset
- Strong leadership background with experience in team management or supervisory roles
- Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies
- Ability to lead change and drive process improvements in a dynamic production environment
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Strong focus on cost-efficient process design and operational effectiveness
- Hands-on and practical approach to problem-solving in production environments
- Strong analytical thinking, result orientation, and effective communication skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage method engineering activities to ensure efficient and standardized production processes
- Define, develop, and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and layout designs
- Analyze and optimize production flow to improve productivity, reduce waste, and ensure cost efficiency
- Prepare and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and technical standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving tools
- Supervise and mentor method engineers, ensuring technical development and high team performance
- Collaborate with maintenance and automation teams for technical improvements and equipment upgrades
- Drive process validation, line balancing, and time studies in production environments
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and process-related metrics to upper management
