QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably within the automotive industry
• Proven experience in method/process engineering, including production flow optimization, work instructions, and standardization activities
• Experience in machining processes is a strong asset
• Strong leadership background with experience in team management or supervisory roles
• Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies
• Ability to lead change and drive process improvements in a dynamic production environment
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
• Strong focus on cost-efficient process design and operational effectiveness
• Hands-on and practical approach to problem-solving in production environments
• Strong analytical thinking, result orientation, and effective communication skills
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage method engineering activities to ensure efficient and standardized production processes
• Define, develop, and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and layout designs
• Analyze and optimize production flow to improve productivity, reduce waste, and ensure cost efficiency
• Prepare and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and technical standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving tools
• Supervise and mentor method engineers, ensuring technical development and high team performance
• Collaborate with maintenance and automation teams for technical improvements and equipment upgrades
• Drive process validation, line balancing, and time studies in production environments
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
• Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and process-related metrics to upper management
