KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing/plant operations, with at least 5 years in the Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Chemical industry.
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end plant operations, including scale-up, expansions, and process excellence.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and safety compliance standards.
• Ability to design and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity and quality.
• Experience in managing facility renovations, plant relocation projects, and system transformation initiatives
• Strong project management and organizational change leadership skills.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing change, and improving operational performance.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Experience working in an international or multinational environment is a plus.
• Must be based in Ankara or open to relocation to Ankara.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, manage and develop all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, EHS, and engineering functions.
• Ensure operational excellence and efficiency in line with global standards and industry best practices.
• Drive process optimization, cost control, and productivity improvements across all departments.
• Oversee all site activities, including raw material management, manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, and dispatch.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, ISO standards), and environmental policies.
• Manage facility relocation or expansion activities, ensuring smooth transitions without disrupting supply or production performance.
• Develop and track key operational KPIs focused on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial, and HQ teams to align plant capabilities with company growth strategies.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to meet production goals, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Oversee and deliver renovation and facility relocation projects, including planning, budget control, contractor coordination, and operational continuity.
• Work closely with R&D, Sales & Marketing, and Global Operations to align plant performance with commercial strategies.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM) to enhance plant capabilities.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing cross-functional team.
• Represent the plant in audits, governmental inspections, and corporate reviews.
