QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering
• 10–15 years of experience in the textile industry, with a strong background in Quality Management and Research & Development
• Strong technical knowledge of textile raw materials, fiber compositions (e.g. cotton, polyester, viscose), fabric construction and fabric performance
• Proven experience in fabric manufacturing, fabric quality, testing and quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, quality standards and compliance requirements
• Proven experience leading Quality and/or R&D teams in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience in driving quality improvement initiatives, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical, data-driven and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee the Quality and R&D functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations
• Define and implement quality strategies, standards and improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational performance
• Drive product and fabric development projects, ensuring innovation, quality and commercial viability throughout the product lifecycle
• Lead strategic initiatives to further strengthen the company's R&D organization, technical capabilities, governance structure and innovation roadmap
• Oversee quality assurance, testing and inspection processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards
• Establish and enhance quality management systems, ensuring effective processes, standardization and compliance across operations
• Analyze quality performance indicators, identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans to enhance overall performance
• Lead customer audits and quality reviews while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and applicable quality standards
• Oversee raw material and supplier quality processes, ensuring consistency, compliance and alignment with product requirements
• Lead, mentor and develop Quality and R&D teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement
• Leverage industry trends, emerging technologies and material innovations to support business growth and maintain a competitive advantage
