QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate from universities in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields
  • 8+ years of experience in sea freight transportation sales
  • Deep expertise in Far East import operations and corporate client management
  • Skilled in pricing, proposal development, and contract negotiations
  • Strong understanding of the Mersin market and regional customer network
  • Leading the sales team to maintain high performance levels, foster motivation, and ensure alignment with sales targets
  • Experienced in setting sales strategies and tracking performance
  • Demonstrated success in team management, leadership, and mentoring
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Results-oriented, analytical, and strategic thinker
  • Based in Mersin or open to relocating

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Plan and execute sea freight sales strategies specific to the Mersin region
  • Drive new customer acquisition in line with profitability and volume goals
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of import clients, focusing on long-term partnerships
  • Oversee pricing, proposal creation, and negotiation processes
  • Define and monitor sales budgets, targets, and KPIs
  • Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and customer demands to identify new opportunities
  • Deliver value-based logistics solutions that align with customer needs
  • Build strong relationships with importers, freight forwarders, and shipowner representatives
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management
  • Support the commercial expansion of the Mersin region in line with the company’s national growth strategy
  • Leading the sales team to maintain high performance levels, foster motivation, and ensure alignment with sales targets
