GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably within the chemical industry
• Proven experience in team management, with strong leadership and people management skills
• Strong experience in supplier management and development, including supplier performance improvement and relationship management
• Solid experience in procurement and sourcing processes, with a strong understanding of purchasing and supply planning
• Good knowledge of logistics processes and operations
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and the ability to coordinate effectively across procurement, planning, logistics, and other relevant functions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external
• Fluent in English

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage purchasing and sourcing activities, including the purchasing of raw materials, in line with business requirements, cost objectives, quality standards, and delivery expectations
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure competitive, reliable, and sustainable supply
• Oversee purchasing processes, including price negotiations, supplier selection, and purchasing terms, in line with business requirements
• Manage and coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring effective integration of purchasing, planning, logistics, and related functions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and lead supplier development initiatives to improve performance, reliability, quality, and competitiveness
• Coordinate supply planning activities to ensure product availability and alignment with business and operational requirements
• Manage import and logistics processes to ensure the timely and efficient flow of materials and products
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations
• Manage the team to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of operational objectives
• Monitor supply chain activities, identify potential risks or disruptions, and support the timely resolution of operational issues
• Identify and manage supply chain risks, taking proactive actions to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes, focusing on efficiency, cost optimization, service levels, and operational effectiveness
• Monitor logistics and supply chain performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with relevant company policies, procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulations
